Boston Marathon #2

My family and I went to watch the Boston Marathon again. We went to Framingham where we could see the race AND the commuter rail go by! Mommy's friend Gene Wilkes ran again this year, so I helped make a sign.

Oh yeah, we cheered for Ryan Hall. He came in 3rd. But here's a picture of him winning when he ran by us!

My Trip to "The City"

Mommy and I went to New York City last weekend. Robbo had a race in the Bronx on Sunday and he and Daddy had to do all the getting-ready stuff the day before. So Mommy and I flew on JetBlue and saw the tall buildings, while Robbo and Dad drove down and walked through the course and checked into the hotel and stuff.

Our airplane was fun. I watched SpongeBob on the TV. Then we rode in a taxi. Did you know there are A LOT of taxis in New York City?!? It took us to the Empire State Building. It was freezing up there! But we could see Central Park where Melman and Alex and Marty and Gloria live (Madagascar movie). And we saw that island thing with the statue. I wanted to take the boat to see it, but Mommy said it was too cold. Here is a picture of me and mommy and one of the city.

After that we walked a long way up to a giant Toys R Us. Get this. It had a huge ferris wheel inside! We walked around Times Square, got a Happy Meal, and rode the ferris wheel and bought a really cool and scary dinosaur.
Then we rode in another taxi - but this one was like an SUV - to Grand Central Station. It's this really HUGE train station. That's where Marty went and where Melman got his head stuck in the clock. We were right on time for our train, but first we stopped and got yummy cupcakes to eat during the train ride.

When we got to West Point where our motel was, our friends Paula and Kara picked us up cause Daddy and Robbo weren't back from the race course yet. After we slept, we drove into the city again for Robbo's race. It was really cold outside, so Mommy and I rode the subway while Robbo warmed up.

Then we watched Robbo run. Mommy and me ran back and forth across the field to cheer him on. He was awesome! And his team won first place! That means I get to go on another trip. To Washington, D.C. this time!!
And guess what... we're flying JetBlue again!
